Hello! I am Jon the poems guy, AKA J.M.

I am a poet and storyteller. There is no real backstory to that - I was just born that way. I don't feel at home unless I am spinning a new yarn about the fantastic or pinning a new poem. I have a deep love of art and philosophy that informs all I write, but I don’t think every word needs a hidden meaning or that a poem is made for stuffy classrooms. Poetry is about us. It is about souls who wander and wonder together. 

I currently reside in a small historic cabin in Brentwood, TN with my wife and our (her) cat, Marmalade. I spend my time outside of poetry reading, playing fiddle, or working on my novel! I hope to publish it one of these days.
